Hello! I am Ph.d. candidate in the Department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I am a sociocultural linguist interested in multilingual practices, social interaction and human-environment relations. My Ph.D. dissertation research examines how linguistic and cultural practices shape the nexus of sea turtle tourism and sea turtle conservation on Hawai‘i’s beaches.
